Project Overview

Bangladesh Cultural Organization (BCO), Trondheim, is a non-profit, non-political cultural organization established by the vibrant Bangladeshi community residing in Trondheim, Norway. With a current membership of approximately 120 individuals, BCO actively curates and hosts diverse cultural events. These events serve to commemorate various occasions, fostering a sense of unity and celebration within the organization's members and occasionally extending the cultural richness to external audiences.

The flagship international event hosted by BCO Trondheim is cantered on International Mother Language Day (IMLD). This significant occasion is deeply intertwined with the historical fabric of Bangladesh. To commemorate this, the organization orchestrates a special event and invite representatives from diverse nations to showcase their unique languages and cultures through captivating performances. It's a heartfelt tribute to linguistic diversity and cross-cultural harmony.
